Becoming a mother is a profound transformation, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. This shift, known as matrescence, deserves to be witnessed and gently supported. A Mother Blessing offers you a calm, loving space to be held by your village as you prepare to step into this next chapter of your life.

Rather than focusing on baby gifts or games, this gathering centres around you, your strength, your story, and your unfolding journey. It’s a time to slow down, feel supported, and be reminded that you are not alone.

As a student doula, certified Hypnobirthing practitioner, and childbirth educator, I offer personalised Mother Blessings that are warm, meaningful, and deeply grounding. Each one is created in collaboration with you, so that it truly reflects what feels right for your heart and your birth.

• A bead ceremony symbolising connection and support
• A simple fear release ritual
• Making a positive words bunting for your birth space
• Guided relaxation or Hypnobirthing meditation
• Loved ones offering written blessings or keepsakes for your birth altar
• Organising a meal train for your fourth trimester
• Inviting your village to offer practical support during your fourth trimester, so you can rest, recover, and bond with your baby
• Working together to include your own meaningful activities, rituals, or cultural traditions
